what I do

(and what I don't)

I help cultivate skills for navigating stress that are:

  • evidence-based
  • trauma-informed
  • embodied
  • simple
  • accessible
  • collaborative
  • alchemical - not just for enduring more, but for changing systems
  • solid, flexible, standalone practices
  • complementary to existing therapy practices
  • founded in comfort, support, and ease

While effects can feel therapeutic, my services are not interchangeable with:

  • therapy services
  • trauma-healing
  • life-coaching
  • group therapy

These practices focus on stabilizing and mental/emotional triage in moments of stress in order to reconnect with a sense of safety, comfort, and rootedness. They are not a substitute for long-term processing of trauma.

Here’s what we aren’t doing:

  • out-of-body experiences
  • spiritual bypassing
  • trauma-bonding
  • get-healed-quick "shortcuts"
  • stress-shaming
  • toxic positivity (aka dismissal)
  • practices requiring you to barrel through discomfort
  • practices that ignore the socio-political realities of living within systems of oppression
