what I do
(and what I don't)

I help cultivate skills for navigating stress that are:
- evidence-based
- trauma-informed
- embodied
- simple
- accessible
- collaborative
- alchemical - not just for enduring more, but for changing systems
- solid, flexible, standalone practices
- complementary to existing therapy practices
- founded in comfort, support, and ease
While effects can feel therapeutic, my services are not interchangeable with:
- therapy services
- trauma-healing
- life-coaching
- group therapy
These practices focus on stabilizing and mental/emotional triage in moments of stress in order to reconnect with a sense of safety, comfort, and rootedness. They are not a substitute for long-term processing of trauma.
Here’s what we aren’t doing:
- out-of-body experiences
- spiritual bypassing
- trauma-bonding
- get-healed-quick "shortcuts"
- stress-shaming
- toxic positivity (aka dismissal)
- practices requiring you to barrel through discomfort
- practices that ignore the socio-political realities of living within systems of oppression
